Charter

Our Charter: Travel differently, in harmony with Provence

At dodoinsolite, we believe that a stay is more than just an overnight stay. It’s an experience, an encounter, a moment suspended in the heart of nature. That’s why we are committed to promoting authentic, responsible, and respectful tourism through three essential pillars: biodiversity, social equity, and the local economy.

🪴 1. Preserving biodiversity

The PACA region is full of unique landscapes—from azure coves to the forests of Luberon, from lavender fields to alpine valleys. Protecting this natural wealth is at the heart of our approach. Our commitments:

  • Promoting accommodations that blend into their environment without distorting it.

  • Encourage sustainable resource management: waste sorting, rainwater harvesting, renewable energies.

  • Promote local flora and fauna through eco-friendly stays.

  • Raise visitors’ awareness of the importance of leaving nature intact after their visit.

Traveling differently means admiring nature without owning it, contemplating it without consuming it.

🤝 2. Promoting social equity

Behind every unusual accommodation, there are passionate women and men: artisans, hosts, producers, guides, farmers. We believe in human tourism that creates connections and promotes local expertise. Our commitments:

  • Working in partnership with regional stakeholders, with respect and transparency.

  • Support local initiatives: integration, training, solidarity tourism.

  • Promote fair practices in the remuneration and promotion of accommodation providers.

  • Highlight the diversity of stakeholders—small producers, families, young entrepreneurs, associations.

Responsible travel means meeting the people who bring the region to life and giving them the place they deserve.

đź’Ľ 3. Encouraging a local and sustainable economy

Tourism can be an economic driver, provided that it benefits everyone and remains on a human scale.

We want to contribute to a circular and conscious economy that supports local life rather than exhausting it.

Our commitments:

  • Promote accommodation that favors short supply chains and local artisans.

  • Encourage visitors to buy local: markets, farms, vineyards, and regional restaurants.

  • Participate in promoting regional heritage, both natural and cultural.

  • Promote reasonable growth that respects the region and its inhabitants.

Traveling locally means giving meaning to every dollar spent.

🌞 In summary

Our charter is an invitation to experience Provence differently: with respect, curiosity and kindness. Each stay thus becomes a small building block in the construction of a fairer and more vibrant form of tourism.
